SynopsisA female plactic surgeon doctor from modern day is kidnapped by a Goryeo warrior and taken back 700 years to help a princess who was attacked.

Character Character Description

Choi Young

29 years old Koryo swordsman as well as royal guard of palace. He jumps 660 years to the future  and then he falls in love with doctor Yoo Eun Soo

Yoo Eunsoo

Very practical modern woman. 33-year-old plastic surgery doctor. Actually, she had been a general surgery doctor. When she thought general surgery is too much hard-work and big responsibility comparing to plastic surgery, she changed her major to plastic surgery.

Ki Chul

Nobleman in Koryo. Big brother of Queen Ki. Making people afraid and salute him is his target of life.

Jangbin

The best doctor in Koryo who treats king and queen. Nobody can compete againts him in medical art.

King Kongmin.

He was taken to  Chinese Won as a hostage at the age of 12. He saw many times that his cousins and uncles were nominated as a king by Won and finally being discarded again. It makes him  determined to get  independence from Won.

Princess Nokuk.

Princess of Won. Queen of Koryo. Determinate and prideful lady. Not only as a Queen but also as a wife, she received love from King Kongmin.

Trivia

• Drama tagline : Fantasy and history will meet. Person and person will meet. Person and heaven will meet.
• Faith is being accused of plagiarism by Lee Kim Production (the company who made Dr. Jin). They cited that Faith contain a storyline about a modem doctor traveling to the past which is very similar to Dr. Jin’s.
• Couple weeks before the drama debut, the production team changed the meaning of the hanja (Chinese character) of the drama’s title .
  But, the Korean title (Faith) hasn’t change.
  The hanja is changed from ?? (miracle doctor) to ?? (loyalty).
  Faith’s initial story was about modern doctor travels to  the Goryeo era and the story  was heavily talking about medicine .
  But, after writer Song Ji Na joined the team to re-write the script, she changed the meaning to ‘loyalty’ and the story will be shifted to the action of the main character , warrior General Choi Young.
  The advantage of the new hanja is giving Faith a more freedom to the plagiarism accusation by Dr. Jin’s production company.
